Next October, 1st. will be an historical moment for Catalan people. We will try to vote to reach a new state. My position has been clear during all these years. I did not wanted to be independent. I hoped that some bridges could have been made between the two different positions. But time didn’t bring communication, but deaf ears and strength in a ship full of policemen willing to avoid the right to people to say what they really want.
Spanish constitution was written when I wasn’t even born. Laws should be done to please people and have to be updated when they are not serving them anymore.
It might be easier if from the very first moment Catalan people might tried to communicate the real idea behind this movement: Freedom to #THINK and #ACT. It seemed for a while that it was just a matter of resources to me too. Many people from Spain has open their eyes as I’ve done too. Maybe with time we could sit again, talk about the good times and find a way to create a new #HEALTHY_RELATION_SHIP_S_ together based on respect in a #FRUITFUL_FRAME_ and behave as the best divorced couple, we’ve done before.
Meanwhile, it’s time to create a new path were we could be able to choose. That’s what democracy stands for. Be asked if we want to live in a republic or not, in what things we want to invest our resources, what should be the rights for people and much more.
Today is not about Independence is about #CHOOSE_RIGHT_ from now on and #B_FREE.
